On a sp500 2000 are the rear wheel bearings permanently sealed or greasable.

The rear wheel bearings are sealed bearings. There is a grease fitting on the "bearing carrier" but it is for the pivot of the suspension arm that connects to the bearing carrier.

This is a good question. I have seen references in the past indicating the Sportsman has greasable wheel bearings. No such thing. Greasable suspension pivots, drive axles, and steering pivots, but not wheel bearings.

Yes that is exactly why i asked that question. Mine do seem to be sealed. I saw posts too that said they are greasable.
