Default clutch probs in the water...

hey everyone... i have a polaris explorer 300 automatic and when i went riding in deep water the clutch got wet and my belt began to slip like crazy just gettin high RPMs... has anyone ever expirenced this problem? if so what did youdo? mine dried its self out in an hour or so but it seems like a pain in the butt...

Default clutch probs in the water...

Check you clutch cover seal. Also, you can make a higher snorkel for the tranny. If you do get it wet, if you have a lot of water in it undo a few screws and let it drain. Then put it in neutral and bring the RPMS up. It will dry the belt off in about 5 minutes. If you get a lot of muddy or dirty water in it make sure you clean the clutches out.
