Upgrades for a Scrambler?
Yup, got mine at the dealer.
Dodge, I ride at the RoseCity area. Some good trails in that area. Here is a link to the Michigan ORV trails. Here is another one. Bull Gap is suppose to be a really good area, and they have over 115 miles of trails and a hill climb.. I have been wanting to go to the Gladwin trails too. Gladwin has 52 miles of trails. There is a place that just opened up in Ogemaw county in Rose City. They have miles and miles of trials, a track and a bunch of other stuff. They also have a campground. It costs money to get in there and to ride though. We'll have to get together and ride sometime. I don't see many Scramblers out on the trail and would like to ride with more.

Good choice. The sound is MUCH BETTER. It is loud but not too loud. 93db I believe. It has a nice "potatoe potatoe" sound at idle. With a good bark when you crack the throttle. At wide open it absolutely roars. Everyone will know that you have a thumper. When you polish up the aluminum and clean up the nickel pipe, it looks sweet on the machine. I would also reccomend a K&N with an Outweaes. You can get the best deal on those at Rocky MT ATV

Don't get me wrong, all the other companies (Aaen, HSP, RCR, White Bros) make good products as well. I know that HPD puts a LOT of R&D into their products and can back up what they claim. I am sure that the other companies do the same. Its all a matter of personal preference. I noticed that a lot of other places charge like $45 for the K&N. You can get the K&N for like $35 and the Outwear (HIGHLY SUGGESTED) for $10. Such a better deal. Rocky Mt is a great company to deal with and they have awsome customer service.

Anyone have the RCR Stage 1 kit on their scrammy? It looks like a good package deal (and price) for a complete upgrade...for starters anyway....I've been eyeing that as my first mod but don't know that much about the package...
Is that for 2 strokes only?
I've heard that Rick will do you right as far as price and customer service....good customer service goes a long ways in my book

I don't know whether or not the RCR stage 1 kit applies to the scrambler 500. I do however know that Rick is great to deal with. I actually ordered my HPD through him and he will reccomend products whether they are worh it or not, even if it means you don't spend the money with him that you were going to.
