ANY BODY RIDE THE BEST POLARIS EVER MADE? THE 425 EXPEDITION 5 SPEED MANUAL SHIFT. ANY COMENTS?

 

They should start making those again except make them 500cc, lighter, a bit sportier, and/or maybe a Visco-Lok front diff so we can have 4 wheel engine braking.

 

Been riding one for 3 years. Made a few mods to get it how I wanted it. Polaris would not build it how I wanted, so i did it myself.

 

is it shaft drive?

 

i have an 01 425 i bought it to replace a 1987 honda 350 honda it was great but the ride sucked ,polaris has a better machine in this catogory ,lots of low end torque, good mid range speed and not a bad top end and a great ride in any condition i used to put 50 miles of riding on the honda and be beat up afterwards i put the same fifty miles on the polaris and want to keep on riding , its a very good realible machine i had a bad head on the machine and polaris replaced it on warranty ,i like the way it handles in tight spots and the 4x4 is far more superior then other machines ,the only thing that i would like on it is a gas gauge polaris wont make one if anyone knows of an after market one let me know keep on riding
