Default REED CONVERSION

Does anyone know if there is a reed conversion other than HPD that I can do myself. I am a certified welder so tig welding is no problem for me If I have to weld it on. Anyone?

I haven't seen anyone else that sells a reed converstion kit for the trailblazer. Maybe you could buy the reed valve and box from hpd or rcr and weld it on yourself. I looked into doing it, but they wanted $369 to weld the box onto the cylinder another $149 for the reed valve and $20 to port the piston. If you find anyone else that sells a kit let me know I,d like to have it done but not for $550 bucks. Good luck I'll also let you know if I find anyone else that sells a kit.

Kurt, if your running the open air element you could put just about any reedcage on it if it will fit. After welding just might have to shape it and blend it in which I will do for you for nothing of course. But maybe Rick will sell it to you. Bubba

You can call Dennis at AZ BAD BOYZ 602-696-5875 For any info.

He does the conversion using A banshee reed cage.
