this is all too damm funny.i cannot believe the arguements that are going on here.
apples to apples oranges to oranges, there is not a better, quicker,or more agile machine then the yfz at this moment.
how can you argue factory specs. the yfz has the highest hp to wieght ratio stock then any other quad ever produced.
the predator is nice. bring a stock one to race a bone stock yfz and the predator will lose. modify each machine equally and the predator will lose by a even bigger margin.
go dollar for dollar on mods, hell i'd even let the predator guy spend an extra grand on mods and i'll still beat him.
and i'll beat him in every facet of racing, whether it be cross country, mx, or drag, or desert.
i don't even wanna get into a pissing match about the raptor in this whole equation, cause raptors should be all means be the biggest baddest machines on the planet with that huge powerplant.a stock raptor only has 36 hp. lol thats funny.

need in say more? if so i probably won't. but for guys like propolaris,predator 500 and lugnut, why don't you go lay down somewhere, and quit bashing and name calling. if you can't present a intelligent arguement without bashing, or name calling then stay off the forums.

They all ways come to polaris forum. and do the bashing. so scott88 stick that in your crack pipe and smoke it. and uassi you tell me how the yfz is better than the predator besides being lighter, and dont even try the turning part that dog wont hunt, and dont say the yfz has bump streer, and dont the axle is better, does the yfz have steel bradded lines NOT! the predator is the ultimate combination of power, handling and suspension. and 250 cant take you seriously look at your govenor your probably a lebral.

250R4LIFE IS JUST SPEEKING THE TRUTH! He isnt bagging on the pred its just a fact the pred WILL not hang with the yfz in a drag in the sand or on hard pack. Iv'e raced numerous preds at pismo and now those guys wont even line up with the yfz. The yfz has more hp and is lighter commonsence should tell you the rest.The pred is a good quad im not puttin it down, but the yfz will beat it in a drag iv'e been there done that.

Once again, I say, Polaris must've done a heck of a good job.....look at all these nervous people. For the record, you can swing by Rath's site and catch the dyno numbers from the Pure Polaris 440 kit vs. the 450 Yammy. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img] And yes, the 450 had some mods. Bang for the buck, it's pretty hard to beat the Predator. Oh, by the way, the post is in Rath's Polaris forum...but then again all you Blue Man Groupies have been hangin' around this Polaris forum, I'm sure you would've found that one soon enough. Don't you ever get tired of trying to convince people of "I think mine is better than your's", join a club, or a local race organization and put your energy to a constructive use. We all have differing opinions, stop trying to force your's on others....we're happy with our choice.

 

Ken, as you are the unofficial team playing coach. In all fairness I think your critisism should be directed more to your own team mates than the opposition.
Have another flick back at some of the sad attitudes that are back there & hopefully you will see my point.

Point taken Geoff, there were some bad comments, but then again, the Polaris crowd isn't the one galavanting around the forums....then again, it's the same few of those who are consistantly showing up. Take my little buddy Ridley, I bet he races that lawnchair, he seems to be at all ( or was it one) race in it. man!! i got some help. i never said the yfz was not a good qaud go and look at the threads. i think its a great qaud just dont think its the best qaud. if you yfz guys want to come to the polaris forum and knock the predator dont think im going to lay down and take it. if i hurt your feellings oh well. and if you dont like what i say dont read my threads just scroll on past it.
