Can anyone tell me where the Fuel filter is located on a 2001 SP 500 HO. Thanks

 

The filter is on the left side of the bike usually just above the coolant reservoir it is about 2.5" long and about 3/4" diameter.; the filter seems to small but polaris says it is just fine > watch out the damn thing has those razor sharp spring clamps on it .

 

Isn't that the engine breather filter you are talking about?

 

#50 on this diagram. Looks like it is on the fuel line that goes from the fuel pump to the carb.
