Default Tires on the new Sportsmans

Looking for info on tires. My buddy just brought home his new 04 sportsman 500 looks sharp. I really liked the look of the new tires that came on it. They are Carlises and a tread pattern that I have never seen before. Look pretty aggressive good deep lug and interesting tread pattern. Looked almost like a radial with a nice flat profile and X lugs on the shoulders. I am interested in how they preform because I have a friend at the dealership and might be able to get a good price on some take offs. Any experience with them yet. Polaris has allways put better tires on there quads than most the other Manufactures. I might still buy some Raw hides if I can't get these or if they aren't as good as they look. Anyhow I am going to try and ride with him this weekend. Want to see what other changes Polaris made for 04. Let me know what you guys think of them. I might buy my wife one of these after Christmas.

They are radial tires and are lighter than the rawhides. SO, they should make the sportmans faster and handle better. BUT, they are basicly a turf tire. Now they are no different than the tires other manufactures put on
