99 Sportsman Tire Selection???
#11
I had goodyear mudrunner 26-12-9 front and 26-12-12 rears installed on my '03 sp 600 before it left the showfloor and just love it. they fit great, are awsome on all terrain, and excellent in the mud-and even ride nice at slow speeds-unlike the 589's! the might be 3-4
pounds heavier than the mudlights, but never rub unless I bottom out the front suspension landing too hard, and when up against
mudlites or 589's in atv pulls I've beaten them on loose and hard pack tracks. I borrowed them to my friend and hee got 3 first and
1 2nd place finishes when pulling against 600's and 700's with his '04 sp 500 in otherwise stock trim. Ive also heard they wear better
on hard pack or black to than the 589's or mudlights..... given the choce I'd by another set.

I thank you all for giving me the info I needed about tire size and I think I am going with the Gators 26x10x12 and 26x12x12. They are even 4 pounds lighter than the mudlites. I appreciate all of your suggestions!!!

I put the 1" highlifters on mine. They are machined aluminum, saw some other composite ones of some sort but done the highlifter. Had plenty of clearance from the tie rod then. When I first put the 10's on the tire would not even turn it was so tight.
