Recently my brother in law told me that the cinders are basicly gone??? Does anyone know if this is true? I cannot see how this is possible considering the size of these hill from what I have been told. I have not had a chance to make it up there yet but I heard that it is awesome.

We were up in flag and wanted to check them out. Looks like a lot of fun,but very dusty.

Can't wait to take the quads up there. Also checkout RidingAZ they have campouts and post rides up there.

Guys, I don't know who's saying that the Cinders is gone. Been there this summer already, and yes the place rocks. Check out a few of my pictures there are some Cinder's pics in there. Make sure you rejet, and regear. It is at 7000k elevation, airflow is dramtically reduced. They are up hwy 89 outside on Flagstaff, just below Sunset Crater (which is the only cinder mountain closed off to OHV traffic).
