Spoke to Darrell at hpd this week. Their pipes are out. They are selling the vortex cdi with their own curves and rev limits. They will reprogram cdi's for one year if they find better curves. They have valve spring set (MUST FOR OVER 9150 RPM'S!!) High comp. pistons in stock bore and 560 big bore. Cams will be out in about a month, they are testing the production cams now. In a 300 ft. drag they gain 4 mph with pipe and mod to carb. In full mod with pipe, slip on K&N , cdi, big bore, they are gaining 9 mph in 300 ft with only a 4 gal. 91 octane to 1 gal. race gas mix. They beat a 720 Raptor with lightweight frame at the "monkey butt" drags.

He also said their cams should be around $300 outright ( no core) and can be degreed using pins to degree which will make it easy. The pipes and cams are going up in price Jan. 1st so get yours now. I put their pipe on but haven't done the carb mod yet so I'm waiting to finish it. The pipe has a stainless head pipe and chrome/aluminum silencer. The full system sells foe $450 but is going up to $500.

 

Does the HPD pipe come with the jet kit?

 

does any1 know where i can get some good aftermarket bars for my pred, with the pred bend... i wanna get some.. and i like that hpd billet clamp they have on there.. its cool and has spots for everything.

 

The pipe doesn't come with jets. They say to jet up two sizes. They have you shorten sping on top of slide diaphram and drill out holes on slide. This pie has to flow better if it needs more fuel. I ran the White Bros. with K&N drop in with stock jetting. I could give a group purchase on pipes if anyone is interested.

Hozed, go to Trailtech.net. They have some great bars you can mix and match with the HPD clamp. I like it cause you have provision for the tether.

Rock, Watched and Aaen prototype silencer flop today, I know Olav will get it figured out.
HPD really quieted down the silencer....compared to the first unit, that had some serious thunder.
