Default help serious 335 sportsman engine problems??

Hi sorry about the last post pressed return by mistake
My second post
I have a problem with the above bike. IT won't run without lots of choke when cold, won't idle evenly it changes revs when you do get it to run when warm, blows lots of blue/white smoke, even when warm giving it choke makes it rev up. It sounds like a fuel problem but i am sure the carb is ok, i have pulled it apart 5 times and cleaned it and changed the throttle needle and seat, everything seams ok with it. I have changed the mixture. I have removed the muffler, the inlet manifold, the fuel pump, the vac hose, breathers and air cleaner. Nothing I do seams to make a difference. Could it be a worn cam or could the timing changed. The bike has been maintained very well, doesn't use oil and has done 9000miles of farm riding ie 5 to 20 miles an hour commonly. The spark is good, it will jump 8mm or more from the plug to earth. The problem started all of a sudden after running fine. I think its more mechanical but i am not sure what. The local dealer is my last option. Please any ideas

Check for a crack in the boot between the carb and engine. Easiest way to see if it has a leak, is to get a can of starting fluid an sprits (just a little) around the carb, boot, and intake area. If the engine changes sounds & revs, you have an air leak.

blows lots of blue/white smoke
Hoping it doesn't have a sweet-ish smell,.. If it does,... it's a head gasket leak or worse, antifreeze is getting into the mix... is your coolant level staying consistant?

335 sportman are air/oil cooled so maybe check for water in gas, I had quite a bit of water in my boat gas tank which I noticed (luckily) when I syphoned it out this fall to winterize it. You said you did farm work with it maybe check your gas tanks
