Default '94 400L kills when put in reverse w/o override

My '94 400L engine kills when I put it in reverse if the override button is not pushed. If I push the override button, it will stay running. What should I be looking at to troubleshoot this wierd electrical problem. Getting really annoying...

Don't let the hp numbers fool you. Its all in how you get it to the ground. Clutching clutching clutching!

This is a common thing with the older Polaris. The easiest and cheapest thing to do is find the limiter box and follow the wires to the wire block and unplug the BLACK wire. This will elleminate the reverse override but you will still have to hold the button in for the 4x4 to work.Or you can replace the limiter box and I think it is around $50.
