Does anyone have a picture of the 2004 sportsman speedometer? They are supposed to say 70 now instead of 60. Does it have a full-time running tachometer also?

I don't have a picture but I can tell you it does say 70. My son actually pointed it out to me today on a 2004 Sportsman 400 in a Polaris dealers showroom. Not sure about the running tach. I pick up my 2004.5 Sportsman 700 next week....if no one has posted by then I will let you know.

it has a digital tach with a menu button that lets you toggle between trip, od, tach. It does other things too. It has a nice white backing with a red needle. Quite nice, I noticed this when I was looking at other brands.

My 03 - 600 has a digital tach - you hit the reverse override button to cycle through the various displays

Pic of the EFI's tach going

Everything on the speedo is controled by handelbar "override" button. I like this better than other brands because you don't have to take your hands off the handelbars to work the speedo....

Where can I get a good price on a replacement for my 03-600?

Nobody told me the speedo should always be higher than the tires!!

Looks like the control head affects the AWD engagement as well. Ever heard of this?
