More disinformation. For the record, the true facts are:
The Rubicon is not a Foreman with an auto tranny.
The Polaris engines come from Japan-Fuji Heavy
Metal Induastries.
By stating and re-stating inaccuracies, it does not change the facts.
Hope that helps.
Going to pick up my Rubicon today.:-)

Mr StuperDuty335,

You are wrong on some of your Polaris firsts!!

Automatic transmission came from snowmobiles, BIG DEAL!!!
Long travel suspensions have been around from the 3-wheeler days.
MacPherson strut front suspension, not too much too brag about....
All-wheel disc brakes, all sport models by all manufactures have had this forever....
Single lever brakes have been advailable on kids quads for years.
Composite racks,bumpers,floorboards (you mean plastic)???
Sport 4x4--ever hear of the Wolverine?

I'm not starting an arguement....But your just wrong. Lots of these things have been around before Polaris had them.
Polaris had too change models completely over the years because if they keep producing the crap that they did in the early 90's, they would be out of buisness by now.

You should be happy that the Rubicon is out. Now Polaris will have too improve the Sportsman, or risk loosing sales. Wouldn't you like a better product? I think everyone wins......Honda fans, Polaris fans.....Everyone.

Movies, Politics, autos and ATVs. I don't listen to or read stuff anybody who is PAID to "evaluate" without putting on the BS filter. It's a shame when the media is biased by industry..

Hey SD335, why you got your undee's in such a bunch? Another baby crying about a write-up, you make me laugh.

Your machine should be the benchmark! I can't think of a more overpriced, overweight and underpowered bike on the market . . . the ole' 335 sportsman

Magazine have been biased towards a particular manufacturer in all sorts of things , cars , stereos, atv's, snowmobiles and more. and the worst thing is when the writers has his or hers own personal opinion clouding the story. As for who's is better well that is one fight that will never end.

I don't know about the rest of you but I try to always base my new purchases soley by what Dirt Wheels has to say about a product.

Try riding a Ruby yourself before telling me Dirt Wheels is wrong. Frankly, I've driven a number of machines that got great reviews that I wasn't particularly impressed with and vise versa.

I'm sure that if ALL the mags give the Ruby a good review, it will be a huge conspiracy. Then they will sell so many Rubicons that the Government will have to step in and do to Honda what they did to Microsoft.

I can see why your so mad though, you really wanted the Ruby to get bad reviews and fail so that the Sportsman would still be "king of the quads". Just calm down and be happy with what you have or buy what it is that makes you happy.

I've never seen so much talk (good and bad) about one stupid 4 wheeler.

What makes me laugh is that in the same sentance, people get mad because Honda is copying Polaris but ridicule Honda for not haveing disc brakes and IRS and switchable 2/4wd and other such features found on Polaris and others. Whats up with that?

When I finish saving my hard earned money, (a few thousand to go yet) I will have a very tough decision to make on what to buy. There are so many new machines coming out. But I don't think I can go wrong with just about anything I choose. But you can bet your sweet butt I will be doing a lot of test riding.

later boys!

TxDoc, let us all know how the Rubicon performs.

Superduty, the Grizzly also had engine braking before Polaris did. But who gives a crap!

I want to get a few things straight, I never said that the ruby Is a piece of junk I don't know, I have never ridden one. I'm just saying to treat it like any other quad when you test it Pick it apart, the same as any other quad.

Another thing IT IS A FOREMAN WITH AN AUTO TRANNY, WHY DON'T YOU GO BACK AND READ THE ARTICLE, ALSO LOOK AT THE PICTURES IT SAYS FOREMAN RIGHT ON THE SIDE OF THE GAS TANK.
I agree I hope it is as great as they say because like you said it will rais the standerd for all ATV's. like I said I am not bashing Honda I am bashing Dirtwheels, I do not want to post this in Honda forum because I have never been to the honda forum, no reason to go there. I am just talking among the Polaris guys that I have been talking to for over a year now, and these are guys that I know. And also It's just MY OPINION. If a true Honda fan can read the article and not say "I'm sure it's a good machine but that article made it sound like it is a GOD among quads" then they are not open minded, I would say the same thing if they gave the new polaris sportsman the review that they gave the RUBY.
