Bootsy you are maing yourself look silly. Two completely different engines, etc. Don't just look at the pics, read the text. You will see.
I am not going to argue with you. Mine came in. I am happy. That is all that matters to me. If you like your bike, that is great. I no interest in running down anyone or there personal choices. But, saying things that are not true makes people who know better put less stock in what you say. A man's word and his name are the most important things he can possess. Once damaged, the repair can be a difficult task.
Enjoy whatever you have. There are many people who are not as fortunate to have basic necessities, much less any kind of recreational toys. I know I will be stuck soon and I hope that someone will help me, no matter what they ride.

A friend of mine and I tested a new Rubicon out and he has a 1999 SP 500 And he is ready to sell it or trade it after he rode the Rubicon. It makes typical belt drive auto's seem Obsolete !!It is much smoother than his Polaris and alot more agile.if you don't believe me go test ride one for yourself.Polaris and other belt drive auto mfg's will have to go back to the drawing board. It turns
tighter in full time 4x4 than his SP 500 does in 2WD,and steers much easier.

Txdoc my name is bosty not bootsy, Please read what I wrote, don't make your own assumption, I AM NOT RIPPING HONDA I AM RIPPING DIRTWHEELS. I will be the first to say Honda is Number one look at the sales. Honda makes the most reliable machine, in fact my next machine might be a Honda. I am a very easy guy to get along with and I respect every quad on the trail. and I have been pulled and I have pulled. No matter what brand. In fact I hardley ever post I just like to read what everyone else has to say. But it was that article that Dirtwheels wrote, not Honda that made me upset and I had to say something. If it made you upset I'm sorry.I by no means was ripping Honda. After I wrote it I kind of regrett it, But it was just how I felt. I did not want to turn this into a Big Fight. Sorry for thoes I have Offended, And yes you are right the real review will be from you guys not Dirtwheels. Thanks for taking the time to read this and I hope to see you on the trail someday.

TXDoc... Don't worry.. I'll pull you out.. Just return the favor when I sink mine in a freakin lake again. OK?
As for comparing the Rubicon to the Sportsman 500... Thats almost an unfair comparison... Shouldn't it get compared to the Magnum 500? They have autos, and conventional rear suspension. That would seem to be a fairer fight..??..
This is like the old Ford vs. Chevy war..... And honestly, I'm just about sick of that TOO!!..
They will all break, they will all have their day in the mud, there will always be a Polaris stuck with a Honda pulling it out and vice versa...
Everybody puts SO much enphasis on the machine... Its about 30% machine... about 70% rider skill and luck..
I've seen newbies on big 4x4 Polarises, Yamahas and Hondas stuck in a hole, only to have a seasoned rider on a 2x4 Kawasaki blast right thru...
As for Douche' Wheels..... I have NEVER agreed with a bunch of Banshee riding, brown nosing "sand monkeys" trying to tell ME what machine and tire works best for MY riding conditions.. I FULLY believe the guys that write the few articles contained are those type of guys that can talk a good game.... But, when it comes to it.. AIN'T GOT A FREAKIN CLUE!!.... Like lots of book smarts, but can't figure out which end of a screwdriver to use.
OK.. I'll get off my Soapbox now..!!!

Bosty22--Sorry for the misspell. Not intentional. I am not a KellyGirl typist. I should have just read and not replied, I guess. I understand what you are expressing as your opinion regarding authors of the article in DW. All I was trying to express was the engine of the Foreman 450 and Rubicon differ by much more than the tranny. I don't have any problem with anyone desiring one quad over another for its features and points of interest to them. I have an outstanding dealer that has been here for almost 40 years and they have treated me very well. I don't think you will ever see me saying I think the Rubicon is the best anything, or even better than another ATV, cause I don't know. I have only my 300 to compare it to.
Anyway, hope you understand what I was trying to say. I respect you and your reasons for chosing your quad and your dealer. And, your opinion on what was written in the magazine. I would enjoying riding with you someday. Hope you have a good evening.

Why don't all you guys shut up and ride. You all sound like you're two years old. Who cares what's written in the magazines. If you get this worked up over ATV's maybe you need to take a vacation.
