Default Oil Pump

I think i might have a problem, My oil pump isn't going through a lot of 2 stroke oil. I went riding for about a half a day and seen that my oil barely went down. I checked my oil line fitler and it seems to look alright. What could the problem be? I think i'm going to buy a oil block off kit. I was also wondering what the oil to gas ratio is? I have a 5 gallon gas tank, how much oil do u need to put in?

Look at your oil consumption this way - (I'm not sure of the oil tank capacity) If the oil tank holds an EXAMPLE amount of 1 quart (32 oz) and IF the oil mix ratio is 40:1, for 1 gallon of gas, you are going to use 3.2 oz oil (1/10th of a quart), which is not much. You can estimate your fuel to oil ratio by measuring the amount of gas it takes to fill your tank, and measuring the amount of oil it takes to fill the resevior after using.

The oil resevoir capacity and fuel to oil ratio are examples only.
