Hey all , My bro in law just asked me to get his 92 trailboss up and running while he is out of town.
Here are a few of the things I have questions about.
1. How far can the head and jug be milled/ported, without loosing reliability and what kind of performance gains will he see using stock pipe?
2. Can the front struts be rebuilt or just replaced(no damping)?
3. Is there anything else I should look for while it is tore apart that might need servicing?
The rig is used mainly for hunting and minor rec riding.
Thanks
Rider

.025" on the head using race gas,.015" using super unleaded, stock mid grade. At least this is what I have been told numerous times. As for boring,go .040" over with the piston if the machine got really hot when it broke. It's a good practice anyway.Again what I've been told. If you clean the casting slag from the intake and exhaust ports:a snappier machine will result. That's just a fact.
