This may be a really stupid question, but I am a new Polaris owner. I want to know what type of fluid you run in your front electric 4x4 hubs? I have ordered a manual but it is not in yet.

ATF type F, or even better, Mobil 1 synthetic ATF.

 

Polaris has a fluid you can get from any dealer. Just ask the dealer for it...

It's a THIN, green fluid...

 

My Polaris dealer warned me against using transmission fluid. He said it was fine on machines from the early nineties but they have changed the formulation for newer machines. He recommended Polaris hub fluid. Of coarse, he only sells the Polaris stuff so it's in his interest to recommend his own products. There is not much difference in price among any of them though.

 

This may be even a stupider question but got to know. Where do i fill it up ,cant find it i must be a retard

 

There is an allen head screw (plug) on the hub, #15 on this diagram. Fill it up so that the fill plug is at a 4:00 position
