I have used the spaner wrench to adjust the shock's spring preload. I have not tried to adjust the dampening factor on the shock. I bought the factory service manuel right away, i recommend you pick one up as soon as possible. I am working now, I will take a look at the book when I get home and let you know how to adjust the rebound dampening. ENJOY!!!

I think you have to revalve the shock to adjust anything other than preload....all the manual gives info on is rebuilding the shock.

kinda hard to believe that that kind of shock has no damping adjustment. I already have the preload set but was looking for some fine tuning. Also do the scrammy's have a tail light and brake or just brake light?
sorry I am gonna just keep adding to this as I find more questions

The taillight is always on when the ignition is on, at least mine is. I believe that you can only adjust the preload on the shock. Like Rook said, you can have it revalved by some places like PEP for you specific weight and riding style
