Default need advice on a new sproket

Im not sure how sprokets work really, but is there a sproket that could increase topend or lowend power without affecting the other type of power? Is there such thing as a midrange sproket and does its rob any other type of power? I see in peoples signatures they put new sprokets on theres, so I was jsut wondering. I know that a new sproket can increase a certain type of power, but decreases other power? For the people that did put new sprokets on thiers, why did you decide to do it? Is the stock sproket kindof the "neutral" sproket?
I have a 200 tb 250, wondering if there is a better sproket for it than the stock one....Thanks for any replies.

I think you should wait until you get your stage 1 kit from Rick. Then you may be able to pull a higher gear.smaller the front sprocket the more low end you will get.The bigger the front the more top end.Bigger on the rear is more low end.Smaller in the rear will give you more topend. Most people change their sprockets when they mod their machines to get the most out of the added power.Hope this helps.

smaller in the front or bigger in the rear will give you bottom end...
bigger on the front or smaller in the back will give you top end..
most people put smaller on the front.. adds more bottom end but cuts out top end.
but there isnt a midrange sprocket.

***... i spent the time writing that and you post it before me.!!!
