Hi fellow canadian TikkaMag, living in this part of the world there are a few things you might want to consider especially if your a hunter or like winter riding. I do both so here is a list of things that I have:
Electric heated grips
Electric heated thumb warmer
Electric heated vest
Electric heated in-soles
Windsheild
Gun scabbered
Rear quad box (no front box cos I don't want to loose the use of my pod light).
Warn winch
Wide mud fenders front and rear
26" Mud Bugs on ITP C series rims.
I won't list all the gear I carry, I'll leave that for another time.

ive got an 04 700SP that is mostly stock except for the winch. i ride mostly in deep water/mud and hills/rocks. my bike has the rawhides and they seem to be ok for a stock tire, however, after riding my buddy's 660 griz with 27' 589's i want more aggressive rubber. i go through about every mud hole he does with my stock tires. i'll bet the 700 is almost unstopable with some real meats on it!

The 700 is a great quad but I would much rather get a 600. The 600 has alot more bottom end. It can wheelie in high with no problem. The 700 is kinda slow off the line. The speed between the both are almost the same till about 60 mph then the 700 slowly pulls on the 600. I am not very impressed with the 700's performance compaired to the 600. The 600 just feels stronger all the way through. I cant see spending the extra money on the 700. Drive them both and you will see.

If your going to buy a new sp700 why dont you just wait till Jan then the new EFI700 will be out.LIving up in Canada I would think the EFI would be the way to go.

Thanks for all the replies!!!

I heard that the new efi may be a limited addition for the first year, could be hard to get. Also I don't think it will come in the mossy oak for the first year.Plus up here in Canada we are usually behind the U.S boys a little bit. Could be awhile before we see a EFI up here.Has anybody heard anything about the EFI in mossy oak/comoing to Canada? Thanks i'll be watching for any replies

take the above advise and go with the 600 instead of the 700. Like the above poster says, not much difference except price and the fact the 600 i MUCH quicker off the line.

I've got a 600 and love it, but it doesn't come in Mossy Oak. I also have a rear double tube bumper in addition to the brushguard. Just in case you happen to do the old end over end. It can really reduce your damage!
