Default Scrambler Clutch Kit

You dealer doesnt sound like he knows what he is talking about. There is no "shifting of gears" It is a CVT, constant variable transmission, meaning infinate gear ratios. The only gears are forward and reverse. The clutch kit helps to get the power to the ground a lot beter. It will be just as smooth in accelerating

I use Aaens trail clutch kit and love it. It only bumps the engagement up around 200rpm, but full shift out is about 500 higher. It feels as though it pulls much longer. There is no sudden jerk to it. These clutches are super tunable. If you want it to jerk you off the line(more common on 2strokes) you can set it up that way. If you want to have the same engagement but higher shift out you can do that too. THe bottom line is if you get one and don't like it you can change it and tweak it or just send it back.
