Which tires work best overall for the Predator at the dunes? I will be duning a lot of the time and messing around racing the hill a little as well.

Which ones work the best for both stiuations?

What size do I want to go with? I have an 04 Predator.

Which brand of tire?

I have heard good things about the Sand Stars. Any comments?

Haulers are your best option, stock tire size. Gear down...

Has anyone tried the Sand Stars?

I thought it took a lot of HP to run Haulers?

The Predator has the power to run Haulers, drop your gearing to 13/37 or 13/38. The molded paddle tires weigh more which robs power. I have run Haulers for years, IMO they are the best sand tire....

I have heard that Haulers break paddles every so often. Is there any truth to that? I don't want to keep buying new tires for only doing 2-3 trips to the dunes a year.

Thanks for your replies.

I have 13/38 gearing with 22x11x10 8 paddle hauler extremes. Best tire I've had. Good floatation on slow turns through the trees. Keeps you up on the sand for a good hole-shot after rounding a corner. The extremes are the same profile as the hauler, the bond on the paddles are stronger.

I had 20x10x10 10 paddle hauler extremes and just dug holes where ever I went. The machine will push them, it's just too many paddles for turning around trees. Good for drag-racing... that's about it.

I can not find the Haulers in 20x11x10 size anywhere to match Predator rims. Anyone know if they make them and where to get at? Thanks
