I want to install cigarette lighter socket to my Trail Boss and Expedition. Has anyone done this? Any install tips... where did you tap in and where is the socket when not in use? Also who sells them. Thanx in advance.

 

I bought mine right from polaris, their heavy duty-not like the ones at the auto stores, it comes with a circuit breaker , mounting , spring cover and wiring, I mounted mine under the seat from under the frame to keep it out of harms way and wired it to the battery. but you can wire it so it will only be live when the key is on, I believe it comes with instructions just use liquid electrical tape on the connections, it works great and keeps the elements out!
