What are you basing the dropping of the 400 Xplorer from the lineup on

Sorry, I thought he was asking about the 2001 Scrambler 400, he has both. The 2001 xplorer is still being produced.
I never got the exact word on why the 400 scrambler was being dismissed from the line-up. It certainly would have to be something to do with emissions( some state parks are getting picky) slow sales, etc. cause most people that own one love it.

I'm trying to get my hands on it but I doubt I will be able to anytime soon. I would guess it's just a scrambler 500 engine in a sp500. Also the brakes have been improved for 2001. Sorry I can't help more.

I usually go in the trails near Bois des Filions, Ste-Anne des Plaines and Terrebonne. I ride once in a while during the winter but mainly in the spring, summer and fall. I leave my quads up north near Parc de la Vérandrie for part of the summer since I have a camp there. It's amazing. Great trails plus a lot of mud! Heaven.

Do you already have a quad? If so where do you ride and what?

Ŕ plus tard...

Hi XPLOR !!

I had quad 5 years ago !!
(Banchee, LT250R, Warrior)

I switch to motorcycle for about 2-3 years.
Now, I want to go back to QUAD !!

I don't have a quad right now but I planned to
purchase one in November, December !!

I had a order for the new RAPTOR but canceled
it because I want to see the new 2001 polaris ??

I ride mostly during the winter !!
I try to ride all the trail surroundings
the Montreal Area
(Repentigny,Blainville,St-Janvier,Berthier)

I hope Polaris built a new sport 4X4 quad !!

When I have my new quad, we could ride !!

A+
