It mainly controls the back shift by sensing torque at the rear wheels but works in conjuntion with the rest of the PVT .Fast back shifts but before you change springs you can readjust the stock one to see how it effects things.I like the Aaen blue set at 2-2 because it holds in gearr better on down hills.

Aaen blue or the HPD violet secondary starting at 2-2 is what i would recommend also. When you start negotiating a hill, the better secondary spring will make the bike start backshifting when it should and that keeps the rpms up. That spring is as important as the primary. If the 2-2 setting seems a bit stiff you can change it to the 1-1 and try that. But I run our trail mod at 2-2 and it works great.

Is the a how to some were I can read on how to do this ? Mechanical ability is not a problem, but no nothing about the polaris clutching.
Also I use the Dalton black/red "or orange maybe" spring in the primary.
