Some good ideas in here, but you guys forgot to mention a drain at the bottom of the belt cover,it would be simple and easy to do.The Grizz allready has one on theirs. Some of us get in over our snorkles, this would be a great addition and would cost very little to do.I like the weight lose thing to.A 600cc 2-stroke Xplorer?Come on fellows,I was'nt really planning on buying a new quad for about 3 more yrs----- ''STOP''=====Bill

MNxplorer just mentioned one of the advantages my polaris xpedition has. The ability to shift on the
fly, like when you are aproaching a mud hole. Like
the other polaris's, If you rear tires are not spinning. I can flip the 4wd button to 4x4 while moving. Plus I can down shift while moving as well, down to a lower gear. Its funny. This is all I have ever known on a atv and now I read that someone wants this as a wish list. I am sure they are talking about on a automatic or I would simply say. Buy the polaris 5 speed. Many times I approach a mud hole and do this and just keep going. I even on the fly, do the reverse back to 2wd and higher gear. The only time I stop is to look over something. rangerchet

The automatics also put you in a lower gear automatically when you enter a mud hole, hence the word automatic.I think they are talking about shifting to low range on the fly would be nice.Low range is only needed in a if you are going through a mud hole while towing another bike.

A lightweight Scrambler with a 500cc two strokes. I don't care if the engine is a twin or single cilinder. Automatic is good but I wouldn't mind a standart transs. Double A arms in the front. No oil injection or starter to save weight. Adjustable suspension and of course four wheel drive. That was the main reason I bought a Scrambler (A fast 4x4 with decent suspension) if I want a 2x4 I think I'll buy a Raptor, but for me is worthless without that extra pair of tires pulling.
PS. I am not saying 2x4 are bad guys. Only that 4x4 will get to more places.
