You are thinking 4 stroke...

With a two stroke, its the size and shape of the pipe that increases hp. Pressure waves, back waves, exhaust scavaging and all that.

When I ride around the house I use the stock scrammy silencer. It sounds great and it also gives a little more bottom end. I then have an AAEN silencer that is a little louder but still pretty quiet compaired to the HPD silencer. Useing the stock silencer does not defeat the perpouse of a pipe. It does not restrict it that much.
