A few weeks ago my tranny cracked on my 00'scrambler 500. Polaris covered it in full and I got it back in a week. I also complained to customer service about this problem since I only rode the thing a half dozen times and had a major drive train problem. Customer service was very cooperative and offered me another 6 months of warranty. I thought that was an ok deal.

I talked to the factory rep about this at my dealership when they were there with the truck.

He said they made a plastic gaurd for the case and showed it to me on a new 01 500 2x4. I wasn't impressed, i don't think a small chunk of plastic is going to stop a chain.

My trailblazer chain cracked my case.

I talked to him about a few problems i had with polaris, the struts and weight. He didn't have much to say.

At the time i was going to get a 500 4x4, and make payments.
