I went from a 87 honda trx250x to a 99 scrambler 500 4x4. The 250 just didnt have enough power to climb any big hills and I geared it for torque. After stalling in the middle of a hill and rolling over backwards onto myself I decided to get something bigger. All my riding buddies have polaris 400 4x4 scrammys and a 400 sport. One test drive convinced me I wanted a 4x4. But I wanted the 500 four stroke for the torque. Just respect it and youll never regret buying one. I love mine.
