I attempted to do a search on this matter but I could not find anything. Probably the user.
Anyway, I have a 03 h.o. and would like to see a little more power from a standing start while in high
range. I remember reading a little about these kits a year or so back but don't seem to hear much
about them lately. The people that have these kits, are you still happy with them and how well do
they really work. I have spent money before on performance items that really didn't gain what I was
told they would. Are these the real deal or not. I really use my quad for work around the house and
cutting wood, but like to play with it also. But realisticly I use it for work more than play (my life sucks).
I have taken it to hatfield/mccoy last year and hope to return or check out the trails in the u.p here in
michigan this year. Also how easy are these to install. I'm pretty knowledgable mechanically so this
is not a big concern, just asking really. Is this really anything that will help out with the power or
should I be looking elsewhere. Also I almost forgot, I have already replaced the stock spring with
the white one.
Boy that was a mouth full, but thanks in advance
for any help.

The heelclicker clutch kit is the best modification you can make. I have one on my scrambler and I can crawl over trail obstacles like having a granny gear, or in your case a low range. Many sportsman owners have installed this kit and end up hardly using low range anymore. whats nice about this kit is you can taylor it to your riding style, unlike the other kits that are meant for cannon ball starts at high rpm. this kit allows you to do it all. hopefully this spring they'll be coming out with a 2-speed secondary clutch. on there website click the flashing "whats new" and it will show you how to install this kit along with other installations and tips!
