It was a mistake, actually. I was adding brake fluid to my 335 and spilled some on the side on the saddle bag. Well, a few days later I removed the saddle bag and holy crap! The brake fluid made the Sportsman decal bubble up and disadhere. I could pull it all off with no residue left but I didn't. It's unfortunate for me, but may be a help for someone else.

What kind of brake fluid did you use to make it do that??? DOT 3 or DOT 4???

And I can take off decals on my atv with a pressure washer if I want to.

My friends 2000 Trail Boss leaked fluid so he was always adding it the other day we went out to ride and the whole left side decals were bubbled up I thought it was just gas and the hot sun but I guess it was brake fluid.

Did the brake fluid affect the plastic in any way?

I know brake fluid can eat the paint right off your car! I know from experience...

It didn't hurt his plastic but I don't know how long it would take for it to eat the decals

The fluid didn't phase the plastic! It's as green as it ever was.Only a small portion of the decal was totally screwed up, so I didn't feel too bad/angry. Oh, yeah, my winch project is finally under-way; man, it is gonna be a trick setup!

Safest way to remove decals and all of those "idiot" stickers is a hair dryer & WD40. Lightly heat up the stickers, doesn't take much, and they peel right off, then use WD40 to clean up any residue.

Looks much better w/o all of those caution & warning stickers!

We have a many PSI Steam Cleaner. I took my registration stickers right off. Didn't mean to.
