It is nothing like a jake brake. The jake brake closes valves on the engine to assist engine braking. The ebs on polaris just engages the transmission to the engine crank to help slow the quad down.

Ecorman,
I allmost ride as well as you?

Need I remind you of the guy who THOUGHT he was stuck in the mud at the Mounds a few months ago on his King Quad? Was'nt it ME who told you to get off your KQ and let me show you how to get that KQ out of the mud? Was'nt it ME who single handedly rocked and rolled your KQ out of the mud as you stood by and watched Me do my stuff.Oh Baby,I only ask you this,

Who rides allmost as good as who?

LOL LOL

I'm interested to hear what happened with your mechanic and the heel clickers. It seems that both of you were hyped-up about the "great" gains that were mentioned earlier in this post. In fact, if I recall, you were challenging my knowledge about their installation and at one point were going to "prove me wrong".

It seems that you are trying to sweep this under the rug and hope it goes away, since you were so strong in your initial statments.

I think you are just blowing smoke.

I'm still waiting to be proven wrong, Bill.

What's up with that?

No sir, Chicken. I never saw that post. Maybe it was before I entered this forum. Bill and I didn't intend to make anyone uncomfortable, we're really good friends and joke around quite often. We generally keep the social business private. But if you think I'm a better rider than Bill, you' re in the minority and I'll just thank you for your attempt to save me.
