Jack, Why are you so negative against Bill? Bill has said repeatedly, how much of an asset you have been to these forums; yet you keep calling him out like he's taken pot-shots at your favorite bird-dog. Maybe he's not the "great' mechanic you are. BIG deal. If you are truly worried about Bill and his machine, you will E-mail him (personally) and try to give your "expert" advice;And save him all these "possible" problems. I have read this thread and see no reason for you to worry about Bill; UNLESS, you are serious about helping Bill get more out of his Xplorer.

When someone, like Bill, starts to challenge my "first-hand" knowledge on this subject, and states that he is about to "prove me wrong", I take a personal affront to that, and accept that challenge. I would like to see what the end result was with this great 25-30% gain that has been bragged about.

I could care less what happens to Bill and his atv. If he wanted help, he could have posted in our forum. Where do you think he first heard about the clickers? What you don't know is that Bill and I have had "words" in the past regarding his endless whining about Polaris atv's in these forums. So don't tell me what I am to say in this or any forum for that matter. Who the hell made you moderator?

As everyone knows, I'm more than happy to help anyone out, but hate to see mis-information being spread. That's the trouble, there is so much bs and misinformation in these forums anymore one would be nuts to take any advice given here. It's either fake, untruthful, or just plain stupid. There are some who post honest and truthful information, but most don't recognize who they are.

His expert mechanic is still waiting on parts

 

My PC has been down since last Friday,so im sorry for the delay in getting back with you guys on this topic.Some of these guys are real idiots,and some dont know how to read.

As I said in an earlier post,THE PARTS ARE ON ORDER.I called again this morning,still no parts.I cant make the parts myself,so im at the dealers mercy until they arrive.

Now SGT Schultz is the one who cant read.This guy is really getting on my freaking nerves to.Never did I say in ANY of my posts that I was about to prove him wrong about the clutch kit.I did say, after Schultz responded so negativly about the kit that how would he[Jack] feel if Steve my mechanic did prove Schultz wrong?Big differance there Jackie boy.I never said I could or would prove you wrong,in fact,there were some of my posts that even thanked you for your information.Perhaps it would do you some good to stop working on the quads so much and start reading a little more.Dont you ever put words in my mouth that never come out of them.If it sounds like you pissed me off,you did.Now Jack,once again,you could possible be right about this Heel Clickers thing,I dont know,I dont have the knowledge on this subject,so I can only go on what you and my mechanic Steve says.Whos right and whos wrong?I cant answer that until the parts get here and Steve is allowed to install them.Im not attempting to sweep anything under the rug as you earlier mentioned.Im patiently awaiting the awnswer to.Jack you know from my earlier posts that my 99 Sportsman had spent ALOT of time at the dealership before,3 months at one time.So why should I not think that the parts are still on order?If the dealership does not have them there in a few more wks,than Jack,perhaps my dealer is full of poop and did'nt know what he was talking about,but dont rub that off on me.I can only explain to others what was explained to me from my mechanic.Your sarcasim towards me is uncalled for and you ought to stop it.====Bill

Jeff,I have a GREAT idea.It would probably close Jacks mouth a little to.He'd than know that im not B.S.ing about this whole thing.You made mention at the start of this post about heading this way.Please stop by Jans Sporting Goods in Goodrich and ask for Steve,the quad mechanic.He knows me real good.Please tell him about all the adversity thats going on between me and Jack.Than after talking to Steve,let everyone in this forum know that Steve is only waiting on parts for this kit.Than Jack will know im not BS him or anyone else in here.I dont like being accused of not being truthful.===Bill

Bill- I truely wish I could help you out but,do to some family issues, I am not going to be in Michigan until September. It is surprising the mind set that Jack has taken on this issue. I have read many of his past post and they have been insightful and open minded. I have no doubt Jack has done this mod, and had difficults with it. But, that does not mean products and procedures do not improve. If we all shared this 'It did not work for me so, it will never work frame of mind.' We would all be riding 3-wheelers, listening to 8 tracks or getting up to change our own TV channels. You can see where I am going with this. So, Bill I wish you luck. If you get the increase in power to the wheels or not please let us know. And thanks to you and Steve for trying.

I know that I had gotton very pissed at Jack in my earlier post today.I never said the things he said I did,and he said some pretty harsh things about me that were untrue,I just wanted to get some things straight.I certainly did get very excited about this topic after talking with my Mechanic Steve.So Jack says Steve cant do the kit,Steve says he can,parts are'nt in for the damn thing yet,so let it go until the parts are in.I was accused of trying to sweep this under the carpet. After Steve tries and fails or succeeds with this kit,let the debate go on.But not Jack,he has to GRIND on me and say im full of BS and just want to sweep this thing under the carpet,which is just not the truth.He said that him and I have had our ''words'' before about my endless whinings about Polaris quads.Well if I hate Polars quads so freaking much,why did I go and buy[my second Polaris] a 00 Xplorer 400cc 4x4?Its true,my 99 Sportsman gave me alot of problems,many that were caused by the buying dealership.After receiving the Sportsman back last December from another repair facility,it has not been back for ANYTHING.And currently,my 00 Xplorer was bought back in March of this yr,it has not been back for anything other than its 20hr checkup.So as you can see,I truly do like Polaris quads alot.I have had my run ins with the dealers before,but I have defended Polaris quads with just about anyone who cares to debate the issues with me in these forums.I also feel that Polaris makes the very best 4x4 quads out there today.I feel I own one.====Bill
