Trail Boss 2004 -- Rugged Enough?

Trail Boss 2004 -- Rugged Enough?
OK, here's another rookie question. My new Trail Boss 330 is excellent. However, I've got some damn rough country on my place. Will the Boss' shocks and frame wimp out with moderately rough use or do I have to be VERY careful to baby it? Or are the shocks and frame structures fairly standard in all Polaris models? Don't want to hurt it too badly!

It will be fine, Polaris has one of the strongest frames out there thats why they are so darn heavy... Just don't go nuts with it use common sense and that quad will last for years..

HornedToad,
Glad you got that thing loaded. I was listening for your scream the other day
I have an 03 I bought new too. Put the RCR Stage 1 Kit in it - goes faster now. Anyway I've been hitting the dunes HARD. I mean last week I hit the moguls (woops) so hard I thought I might roll it. The a$$ end was trying hard to swing around to front. Then I had to hit a woop at the bottom of hill hard to keep the speed up enough to make it up a hill. I hit the woop so hard that the front end actually bottomed out. My knees hit the front fenders so hard that I got skin burn on them (like road rash) under my jeans.
I looked it over real good after all this - no problem. It runs and rides like it always has.
You'll be fine.

Hey, thanks for the reply!!!! Yeah, I got the Boss loaded just fine -- I should lighten up and quit worrying! And thanks for the words about the durability of the Boss. Won't worry too much about it now-- will just have fun, and be moderately careful.
Damn, I can sleep better now. Maybe I'll advance out of the Rookie stage soon!
