Default What do you clean your engine with?

Just wondering what the best product for engine cleaning is. Also, how do I get the baked on mud off of my exhaust? Thanks

Oven cleaner works great on the exhaust pipe - get 'er hot and spray away, let it sit a bit, then wash it off - you can do the same for the engine, but unless you wash it off real good - then come back with some WD40 all over after it dries, the aluminum will start to oxidize (white chalky spots all over).

The acid used to clean air conditioning coils works well on the engine too - it was designed for aluminum. (and I might add it is environmentally safe - but I the only tree I hug is the firewood I'm bringing to the wood stove )

The best thing to clean your exhaust with is a pressure washer. It blasts all the baked on mud right off. Just a warning though, don't spray your suspension components with it as you will blast all the grease right out.
