It's a '99 Sportsman 335. The breaker is in a little black bag beside the battery. But how do you trip it?

Have you tried disconnecting both the leads from the battery?

Last question. I know very little about the electrical systems, and i need to know if the wiring part was easy. I know that everyone said that the installation was easy, but i am kinda slow, lol. But really, how do the lights connect to the quad. Do they just plug in somewhere, or do i have to sodder them to something? Thanks for all the help !

Tbr, I wired my lights directly to the battery. A red wire goes from the battery (+) to the head light pod where I have mounted a weatherproof toggle switch. It then goes forward and splits with one going to each light (+). The two black grounds (-) coming from the lights go to ground on the frame. I spliced the grounds together and connected them to an existing ground/frame connection. That's it! It's different and a bit more complicated if you splice into the electrical system but I just feel more comfortable now without involving the electrical system, I had an overload issue due to the additional lights and it kept tripping the breaker.

i stripped off the end of my pos wire and put it in the holder and hooked it up. then i did the same with the neg. i ran the positive to the switch and the ran it out of the switch into the splitter and ran it to the wires. i split the neg and hooked to to the lights. i sodered my wires just to be safe but its not neccesary. the rest of my time was spent wiring. scott

Just got em, love em. Ya, you were right, they do make a huge difference, and the mounting was easy. I took off all the plastic and it went right together. Now all i got to do is position them. Thanks sooooooooooooo much guys!!!!
