Default PVT Tranny Low Speed Limitations?

Need some advise. My new trail Boss has the auto PVT, and the manual says NOT to drive the ATV slowly. What is "slowly?" There are times on my property that I must drive pretty damn slow for hundreds of yards due to rough terrain -- about the speed of a fast walk. Will this wipe out my belt due to overheating? The RPM doen't "seem" too high, and the ATV moves right along without obvious stalling. Do I need to lose sleep again? I understand about the "pinch" of the tranny on the belt at low RPM, but is there something I should notice when I'm going "too" slowly? Hit me.

My automatic transmission has only a forward, neutral, and reverse selection. There's no selection of hi/low forward speed. It's the Trail Boss 2004 model. Thanks.

I DIDNT KNOW IF THE TBOSS HAD THE HIGH/LOW RANGE.
I WAS LOOKING AT MY 2004 500 SPORTSMAN MANUAL AND THATS WHAT IT SAID FOR MINE, BUT I WAS UNSHURE FOR THE TRAIL BOSS.
I DONT THINK LOW SPEED WILL BE AN ISSUE, MY KID HAS A 2004 PREDATOR 50 AND WHEN IT'S LIMITED IT WILL NOT DO OVER 10 MPH. IT'S ALSO A PVT.

you shouldn't have any problems, if you start to smell something like burnt rubber you are overheating the belt and need to let it cool down. I have a scrambler and have used it to do some pretty slow crawls and not smoked a belt!! Even if you do it is a piece of cake to change and are about 30.00 for a new one

Ride on

Don't lose sleep over this I rock crawl my 250 trail blazer all the time a lotta load on the trans and very slow speed. and it's higher geared than your boss. I smell burnt belt every time I ride I bought a new belt after a few months of this and the old one still looked good a little glazed mabe. However when I start smelling belt I put it in netural and rev it a little to get some cool air to the belt\clutches. A clutch kit can help eleminate belt slipping at low speeds.
