A friend of mine mentioned to me he heard from a REP that there was a 750 CC twin sportsman coming out. Does anyone know if this is true! Not just talk.
This would mean that they would have something to beet my 2000 GRIZZ forsure especially if it is twin.
Ride on.

It will certainly be a Grizz killer, and any other utility quad. That is going to be a Monster of a machine.

The new Polaris brochure will read:
"Better shake a leg swamp buck... and elk...and GRIZZLY!"

Man, people sure trust rumors/stories. Nobody has even seen a machine of this type and already it's better than the Grizzly...... Oh, a Sportsman 500 is already better than a Grizzly anyhow if you ask me

Yeah i know it I am just as bad, jumping on the beat up the Grizz bandwagon when we don't know when or if it will be out.

I would be interested in seeing this thing, if it is true, it's probably going to be the same weight as a ford ranger too, which will mean it probably will sink itself in deep mud. The manufactures are getting out of control, think back when everyone had 250 CC machines that weighed nothing compared to now, when is the madness going to stop. Yamaha will just take over AGAIN and release a bigger one that will beat it again.
Here the roar, ya its a grizzly coming up your ***.

I think it would be awesome is Polaris came out with a monster engine for the already powerful Sportsman 500. A 700cc sound good to me, but one thing I can't help to wonder is how heavy this beast will be if it's real? I'm guessing at least close to 800lbs. What do you think?

Well, I hate to be the bearer of bad news.. But...
Polaris/Fugi Motors is NOT working on a 700cc+ twin cylinder... Atleast not for any ATV..(maybe in the PWC world, but NOT in the ATV world) What Polaris/Fugi IS working on,( and has developed, tested, and decided to go with)
Is.. a 643cc (650 class) SINGLE cylinder 5 valve head engine for the Sportsman Chassis... The 335 is/will be gone (as many have already suspected.. and personally IM GLAD TO SEE IT GO) The Sportsman 650 (as it will be called) will come with many beefed components such as brakes, clutch components, beefier CV joints, and yet ANOTHER steering rod end refinement.. Ground clearance is to be increased SLIGHTLY (like 3/4 of and inch.. not much)
There is to be a new fan shroud/blade design, a new color or two.. (I dont know what they will be, but something tells me theyre gonna go after Hondas Orange Crush)
Honestly, Im glad they arent going multiple cylinder.... the added weight, width would have made it unbearable to ride.
