I don't know about the hot seat kit but the rcr kit you wont gain much top speed out of it its more bottom end. RCR does sell a mid range, bottom end and a top end pipe but not for the trail boss, its only for 2 strokes.

Probably be quite a bit faster. Tell me the results if you do get it done.

 

I'd be interested on how the 414 kit works out. If I start dropping hints now, maybe they'll be one under the Christmas tree.

I want bottom end on my boss 250 what should i do?

 

Get a different clutch spring and go down one in the front sprocket or up a couple teeth on the rear.

 

Got the RCR installed just in time to go on a weekend ride. Still needs a little fine tuning, doing that this weekend. As far as making it faster, didn't notice a big difference, maybe 5 mph. Noticed a huge difference on the bottom end. About due for new chain and sprockets, so I'll make it up the difference there.
