Yeah, never rely on them to call you. If you ever hear of a recall on anything you own, call them to take it in. If you buy something used from someone else especially, the manufacturer may not get the paperwork or know who owns the effected unit now. PLus some dealers aren't good about contacting the customers, even though they are supposed to.

 

There was a predator team at 12 hours of america last year that blew the lines off their junction box twice! Talk about down time to re-bleed brakes!

 

No matter if u purchased the machine new or used each one that was made gets a package shipped to the dealer it was originally purchased from. My dealer gave me the kit and then told me that polaris wants the dealer to install all kits due to liability
