Default Anybody have a problem with reserve?

This is my 5th Polaris ATV. I owned 2 Scramblers, 2 Sportsmans and a Trailblazer. If you run out of gas and put it in reserve, the tank is empty and won't start. Is it just me or is anyone else having this problem?

wont start at all? hmm... i can see it having some hesitation.. it order for more gas to be pumped to the carb but it should still start... my 02 scrambler and my pred were fine once i put em on reserve.

i no this is probably a stupid question.... but are you sure you dont ride on reserve then switch it to "on" when you run out... i dont understand any other way that it could happen other than that. almost impossible if you ask me...

it may sound silly but sounds like you have it on reserve instead of just on .i think you are saying every polaris you have owned has done this. make sure the handle points down for on. it is also possible the reserve tube may be stopped up if you have the valve right. i would blow through the line with the gas cap off while in the reserve position and see if its clear. there is another possibility that the on tube has fallen off and it nows flows fuel all the way to empty.

It is in the down position. That would be way to easy.
