what about the sprotsman 500??
I ride with a friend that has one it will get up to 58-60 mph. Will go just about anywhere.it's great in the mud and it gets better fuel mileage than my 250 trailblazer. I think it's worth the money the only disadvantage I can think of is there farily heavy but so are most ute's. And the polaris is built better than most i have seen thats what makes it heaver.

what about the sprotsman 500??
I think ours is great. It's fast ENOUGH and otherwise powerful enough to go anywhere. Fuel milage is pretty good, too. The last two times out it was the only quad not to get stuck with my wife riding it (a newbie at ATVs, too). Two Rubicons and a Foreman got stuck multiple times... not my wife. what about the sprotsman 500??
I got a sp500 last summer and just love it. I'm a 6'3", 290lb man and it lugs my butt around great including getting a little air now and then. Only problem I had was a camshaft lobe went out and took $650 to get it fixed. I just got it back last week. Was really missing it. Even with those problems I highly recommend a sp500 to anybody.

The SP500 is one helluva off-road battleship. Just take a look at my photos. The ground clearance, IRS, low gearing, and instant AWD combine to make it go over just about anything. Is it fast? No. I ran about neck-and-neck with a Kawasaki Mojave 250. But I didn't buy a 697 lb. machine to go fast. I bought it to go anywhere.

Best machine Polaris has right now ,It's tried and true ,I have a 2002 and on GPS it will go 62mph loaded down with a hard case on back and a full gas pack on front ,It will beat my buddies Vinson and It also rides like a dream ,One big improvement was putting Radial tires on ,Ride quality and handling was good ,with Radials it is great for a #700 machine ,So I guess my vote is a big fat YES go with a 500HO
