Default quick question about Trailblazer weight

Hello, Say what are some inexpensive things a guy can do to reduce the weight of a 2002 250 Trailblazer. Also what would be the best tires to get for riding trails through the woods and playing in the "MUD"

Thanks
Jason

start cutting things off, like the floorboards, plastic, whatever you dont need..you can always use titanium hardwear also..as for tires there are so many good ones,i just bought mudsharks havent got to ride with them yet..

Take off the oil injector and the battery/starter. That makes me wonder, if the new 700 efi has no carbs, shouldn't it be losing weight?

0 carbs, it will burn it's own body fat for energy. There are so many people at my office on the Atkins diet it's ridiculous. JMO, but if they were to watch their diet and get some excercise, they wouldn't need to be on a special diet now.

Put on some aluminum wheels. If you can't afford new ones try finding some used Scrambler ones from 98-2000 they were aluminum. The newer ones are steel they will bolt right on but the lug nuts are slightly different. If it's not too rocky where you ride you can change the steel disc protecting the sprocket to an aluminum one. Losing weight on rotating mass is a lot more beneficial than overall weight. HTH
