THANX Fellas...
I Actually want to see what I can get a 'Better Price' on...
& then go from there...
Well the dealer is going to charge around $300 + to install the Hot seat Speed kit...
*I wish I could do it!*
So is that a Fair price... Seems a lil steep, but he said it was around 5hrs to put in.... Hmmm....
I dunno about these mechanics... lol

5 hours!!! Bullsh!t!!!! The pipe takes maybe 15 minutes to put on. The air filter, well thats easy enough. The primary clutch shouldnt take more than 10 minutes and the secondary MAYBE 20 minutes. But they have all the special tools for that too. The hardest par would be taking off the front plastic and gas tank to gain access to the carb. It took me a few hours on my own to do it. But now that I have more experience, I could probably install one in about an hour. 5 hours is just plain BS. If it takes them that long, then they shouldnt be near the machine!!

I agree BBS..
When i put the mods on my scram it took me maybe 4 hours. I did it with no special tools, the secondary clutch is a pain the first time you do one..
When i took the mods off my scram i did it in hour 30min, i took off the pipe, rejeted the carb, stock springs and weights helix, air filter, handlebars done, thats taking off the new parts and putting the stock ones back on...
5 hours is REAL BS!!!

I installed one of these kits(first time ever for me to work on a polaris) but I did it in about an hour. It I was a POLARIS cerified machanic, I would assume it would take me no more than 30 minutes(with a coffee break).
I do have a question though. Why is the Secondary spring sprung so light? and what does this do? Also I noticed the Blue primary spring the kit comes with, has a pretty high engagement. It may be the sound of the new exhaust also, cuase the machine was bone stock before hand. I havent had a chance to really ride it(just around the yard) but it definatley seems to hook up alot more aggressivly. I'm ust wondering I guess if I did everything right? The only questions I have is the rear clutch assembly, simoply because the stock spring was SOOOO hard, But the new sring was totally different and was alot softer sprung. Just wantto know why.
Thanks.
