Motor update - 250 Traiblazer
#1
I recently purchased a motor for my wife's 1999 Trailblazer 250 on E-bay. Yhe motor that I purchased was from a 2001 Trailblazer 250. The 1999 oil injector feeds into the crankcase. The 2001 oil injector feeds into the carburator. the 2001 engine did not come with a carburator. How do I make this work? Hope someone can help.

Thanks for the advise. I really want to know if a kit is made or whatever to convert/modify the system so I can have an operatable oil injector? Does anyone have a drawing availiable?

I don't think there is a place on the 99 carb. to hook the oil line to. But mabey someone on here that has taken the injection off a newer one would trade carbs with you since they don't need the oil hookup anymore. Or maybe you could modify the new motor to hook up like the old one.

Thanks, someone said that there may be a mod kit that consists of an adapter to replace the existing carb mounting flange that the injector hose would hook to, between the carb and the cylinder. ?????????????????????

I was going to suggest a mod. like that after I got a chance to look at mine and see if it was posssable alot of 2 strokes inject the oil at the intake. If you pm rick ritter or Bubba297 they may know where to get a kit like that if someones making it I'm sure rick or bubba have seen it.
