I currently own a oo trail boss and am quite disapointed in its performance, thinking i should just trade it in for the trail blazer, but what i need to know if that fugi engine can take a good beating or am i going to be replacing the top end every 6 months. Cant rely on what the dealer says becouse they just want your money,so i want to hear from joe q public, likes, dislikes, regets any advice will be of great help. THANKS

I read somewhere on this site that ?Rick Ritter? (not sure of the name/company) is working on a head kit for the TB 325. It seems Polaris used the same head as they use on the 425 so it can be bored...Might be worth looking into.

I own a 2000 Trail Blazer and my friend owns a 2000 Trail boss. They have almost the same top speed and acceleration. There are only some small differences. I wouldn't trade in your Trail Boss for a quad just like it unless your gettin some kind of deal. We both got sick of the automatics and are selling them.

first of all, there is now way the accelerattion of the 2000 trail boss compares to the 2000 trail blazer. Don't worry about that motor, i've got a 85 (basically same motor) and mind is still runnin strong as ever. I've dragged a new trail boss (2000) and beleive me, my old machine takes it to school.. actually, my old 250 can easily beat a 92 250 trail boss.. i dunno why.. but don't worry, i've had great luck!

if you want to keep your 4-stroke contact Rick Ritter about the 414cc kit..it's just awesome....It will easily run over a stock or moded trailblazer

As for the trailblazer, mine was great 3 years old and still on same topend...i'd just suggest putting a wiseco piston in it as your first mod. Polaris pistons suck..
