I had the same trouble on my 02 500HO. I went with an EBS prime and sec from an 800EFI . And it solved the problem. My weights and drive spring swapped fine and the new secondary does not have any buttons to break it added low end and I got the top end that I lost with the old Hi perf clutch kit. It was money well spent now my 500HO puts the power to the ground and keep money in my pocket.
