taking off the starter
I took the starter off a 95 trail boss today that I bought last weekend. I had to take the side case cover off and remove two bolts from the starter. I then had to get underneath the fourwheeler and remove the bolts that mount to the back of the starter. That was the hard part. The top bolt was in a real tight spot, I had to cut a 10mm wrench in half to make it fit in there to get the bolt off. Hopefully I'll be able to get the local starter guy to add some brushes to it and then I get to have fun putting it back up in there. All the work will be worth it to me to just push the starter button :-).
